About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Solar Project Manager. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of solar energy projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, procurement, and installation crews.
  • Evaluate and obtain all necessary permits and approvals before project commencement.
  • Ensure quality assurance and control throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Verify that all materials and equipment meet project specifications and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Identify and address any issues or deviations from the project plan promptly.
  • Promote excellent customer service by serving as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide regular project updates and address customer inquiries and concerns.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably 1-2 years in the solar or renewable energy industry.
  • Strong understanding of solar energy systems and installation processes.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • PMP certification or similar is a plus.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Able to travel to project sites as needed.
