We are seeking an experienced Credit Risk Professional to lead our SME loan portfolio management and ensure prudent lending practices.

About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for evaluating creditworthiness and mitigating financial risk through rigorous analysis of financial statements, business performance, and industry trends.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess SME loan applications for credit risk and compliance
  • Analyse financial data and identify potential risks
  • Recommend loan structures and terms aligned with risk policies
  • Monitor loan performance and identify early warning signs of default
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies
  • Evaluate adherence to regulatory guidelines and internal credit policies
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • At least 5 years' experience in credit risk or credit assessment within financial services
  • Strong analytical skills and knowledge of SME financing practices
  • Familiarity with regulations and non-compliance issues
