Credit Risk Management Specialist
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Credit Risk Management Specialist to oversee SME loan portfolios and ensure prudent lending practices. You will play a key role in evaluating creditworthiness and mitigating financial risk.
Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities include reviewing and assessing SME loan applications for credit risk and compliance, analysing financial statements, business performance, and industry trends, recommending loan structures and terms aligned with risk policies, monitoring loan performance and identifying early warning signs of default, and developing and implementing risk management strategies.
Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring adherence to regulatory guidelines and internal credit policies.
Requirements:
- A diploma or degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline
- At least 5 years' experience in credit risk or credit assessment within financial services
- Strong analytical skills and knowledge of SME financing practices
- Familiarity with MAS regulations and non-bank lending policies preferred
