Loan Operations Specialist

The Loan Operations Specialist is responsible for attending to walk-in applicants applying for loans, including working with business partners and tapping on external resources for referral of loan cases.

  • Evaluates the creditworthiness of loan applicants based on their history and current finances.
  • Processes bilateral and syndication loan drawdown, rollover, rate fixing, billing, repayment, and facility fee collection in a timely manner.
  • Supports remittance and deposit placement functions.
  • Performs AML screening and pre & post-transactional handling.
  • Responds to internal/external stakeholder inquiries and matters relating to services provided by the team.
  • Maintains records of all loan files.
  • Performs daily reconciliation, audit confirmation, management, and regulatory reporting.
Requirements

Successful candidates should have:

  • A diploma / degree in Business Studies, Finance, Banking, Economics Commerce, or any other relevant education.
  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience in Loan Operations / Credit Administration.
  • Knowledge of AML & Terrorist Financing as well as Operational Risk issues will be an advantage.
