Job Summary

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a critical role in the success of our construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity to utilize your skills and experience in quantity surveying to drive business growth and profitability.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quantity surveying and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry. They must also possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to manage and prepare comprehensive cost estimates for all tender submissions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and prepare comprehensive cost estimates for all tender submissions.
  • Source, evaluate, and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Carry out quantity take-offs and cost breakdowns based on drawings, specifications, and document requirements.
  • Review and interpret tender documents, including drawings, specifications, and contract requirements, to ensure full understanding of the project scope.
  • Identify discrepancies in tender documents and raise timely clarification queries.
  • Provide cost inputs and supporting data in accordance with tender submission requirements.
  • Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Prepare tender costing sheets.
  • Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of the works and deliverables.
Requirements
  • A diploma and/or degree above in quantity surveying or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
  • At least 2 years of experience in tendering roles.
