Job Description

Surbana Jurong seeks a skilled professional to oversee the development and implementation of BIM standards across various projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing office-wide BIM capabilities, conducting staff training, and ensuring compliance with project requirements.

The successful applicant will assist in creating and maintaining project templates, providing quality control for drawings, and supervising Revit specialists. Additionally, they will contribute to office-wide BIM training programs, conduct on-the-job training, and provide orientation for new staff members.

This role requires excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, consultants, and contractors. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work autonomously.

Responsibilities:
  1. Assist in developing and implementing BIM standards across various projects
  2. Manage office-wide BIM capabilities, including staff training and compliance
  3. Create and maintain project templates to ensure consistency
  4. Provide quality control for completeness and adherence to company standards of all drawings produced
  5. Supervise Revit specialists to ensure BIM standards are maintained in the creation of Architectural BIM models
  6. Contribute to office-wide BIM training programs
  7. Conduct on-the-job training for project-specific needs
  8. Provide orientation for new staff members
  9. Maintain high-level competency of software through continuous use and training
Requirements
  • Diploma in Architecture or equivalent from an accredited institution
  • At least 12 years of relevant experience
  • Well-versed with 2D and 3D design software and technologies, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft suite
  • Familiarity with scripting and computational tools (e.g. Dynamo, Python)
  • Acute knowledge and application of planning and building codes and regulations, regulatory submissions, and processes
  • Organised and methodical with attention to detail
  • Ability to take initiative, work methodically, and autonomously
