Electric Vehicle Technician Opportunity

 

Job Description:

Volt Auto, a leading electric vehicle dealership in Singapore, is seeking an experienced and skilled Electric Vehicle Technician to join our team. As a key member of our aftersales department, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective maintenance and repair of our vehicles.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in electric vehicle maintenance and repair, with proven leadership abilities and extensive hands-on experience with diagnostic tools, mechanical repairs, and servicing vehicles in an authorized dealership environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure overall operation of the garage, including safety, cleanliness, and workflow efficiency
  • Conduct regular vehicle inspections and perform quality control checks before vehicle delivery
  • Plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance tasks
  • Identify and troubleshoot discrepancies or recurring issues in repairs processed; implement root-cause solutions
  • Responsible for ensuring that vehicles are maintained according to a schedule to minimize breakdowns and maximize performance
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of all repairs, maintenance activities, and parts usage
  • Adhere to established procedures and guidelines for maintenance and repairs

Requirements:

  • Certification or diploma in automotive engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a mechanic in an authorized dealership environment
  • Must be certified in electric vehicle technology and possess a valid certification
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills of electric vehicles
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship and safety
