Job Summary

A Technical Services Manager is a professional who will manage all technical personnel in the project team, assigning technical tasks and overseeing the delivery of technical services to customers. The successful candidate will ensure that technical services meet quality standards, budget, and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure project milestones are met and develop detailed schedules with tasks, dates, and duration.
  • Collaborate with the Pre-sales team to review design, scope, and effort estimation for new opportunities.
  • Lead a team of technical resources to complete the required scope on-time.
  • Design and architect cloud solutions based on business requirements and best practices.
  • Oversee the deployment of cloud services and applications, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance.
  • Lead cloud infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and optimization efforts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud solutions with existing systems and applications.
  • Monitor and analyze cloud infrastructure performance metrics to identify areas for optimization and improvement.
  • Implement performance tuning strategies to enhance efficiency and responsiveness of cloud-based systems.
  • Drive initiatives to automate repetitive tasks and streamline cloud operations.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to cloud PS teams.
  • Mentor team members on cloud technologies, best practices, and emerging trends.
  • Evaluate cloud service providers and technologies to determine the best fit for organizational needs.
Requirements
  • 15 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 8 years focused specifically on cloud technologies.
  • Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Cloud Architect are preferred and may be required depending on the role.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions in public, private, or hybrid environments is essential.
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, including compute, storage, networking, and security concepts.
  • Proficiency in cloud automation, orchestration, and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
  • Experience leading a team of technical resources and providing mentorship and guidance to them.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, fostering a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
  • Understanding of cloud networking concepts including virtual networks, subnets, routing, load balancing, and security groups.
  • Familiarity with DevOps principles, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, version control systems (e.g., Git), and agile methodologies.
