Cloud Solutions Architect

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with clients to capture their needs and convert them into detailed architectural and design frameworks, prioritizing cloud-native strategies and industry best practices.
  • Establish a visionary technical roadmap for cloud solutions, focusing on Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and scripting to optimize infrastructure management and deployment workflows.
  • Create all-encompassing technical solutions that utilize cloud technologies, ensuring scalability, dependability, and cost efficiency.
  • Evaluate both business and technical issues, pinpointing functional and non-functional requirements within a cloud context to devise optimal solutions that align with client goals.
  • Deliver precise specifications for the design, management, and execution of cloud solutions, integrating IaC principles and automation techniques to enhance efficiency and uniformity.
  • Oversee the execution of Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and Proof of Concept (POC) projects on cloud platforms, showcasing the viability and benefits of proposed solutions to clients.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to development teams, fostering a culture of innovation, teamwork, and ongoing enhancement in cloud architecture and infrastructure methodologies.
  • Exhibit proficiency in diagnosing intricate technical issues within cloud environments, utilizing automation and scripting to expedite resolution processes and minimize downtime.
  • Leverage cloud-native services for monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure proactive oversight of infrastructure health, performance, and security.
  • Champion automation initiatives across cloud infrastructure, scripting routine tasks and workflows using languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual tasks.
  • Adopt Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager to provision and manage cloud resources effectively and reliably.
  • Incorporate security and compliance best practices into cloud solutions, utilizing native security features and third-party tools to safeguard data and applications against emerging threats.
  • Stay informed about new technologies, trends, and best practices in cloud computing, infrastructure automation, and DevOps, continuously refining solutions to meet changing business needs and industry standards.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in one or more sectors of the IT industry.
  • Experience in developing intricate solutions on AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, Alibaba Cloud, or other cloud providers.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of containerization and serverless architectures.
  • Experience in designing relational or non-relational databases (MySQL, MariaDB, MongoDB, Aurora, DocumentDB, DynamoDB, etc.).
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and experience in DevOps or DevSecOps.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation using Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or similar tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
