Finance Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PSB Academy Financial Specialist to join our team at PSB Academy Pte Ltd. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing the general ledger process, ensuring completeness and reasonableness of expenses in the profit and loss statement. You will prepare and post general journal entries for expenses, accruals, allocations, and adjustments.

Key Responsibilities
• Monitor and check completeness and reasonableness of expenses in P&L.
• Prepare and post general journal entries for expenses, accruals, allocations, and adjustments.
• Monthly update of currency exchange rates in Navision.
• Prepare GL related schedules and reconciliations.
• Review AR / AP related schedules.
• Prepare bi-monthly bank reconciliations and ensure follow-up actions by respective Finance staff.

Financial Planning and Analysis
• Assist in quarterly forecasting and budgeting process such as coordination with various departments and schools and handling their queries.
• Assist in preparing forecasts and annual budgets that fall under Finance & Controlling department's responsibilities.
• Assist in developing financial models and their maintenance for budgeting and forecasting purposes.

Audit, Corporate Tax, GST and Corporate Secretary
• Prepare quarterly GST returns
• Assist in audit process and liaise with external auditor.
• Prepare yearly audit report package.
• Assist in preparing information for yearly income tax returns and other tax queries.
• Liaise with external company secretary on secretarial matters.
• Prepare yearly annual returns and XBRL submission.

Requirements
• Degree in Accounting / Finance with 5-7 years of experience.
• Possess ACCA qualifications.
• Possess integrity and ability to exercise discretion in confidential matters.
• Meticulous, proactive, independent and able to work under pressure.
• Good interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Competency in MS Office, especially MS Excel.
• Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment and under tight deadlines.
• Familiar with Navision or similar accounting system.
