Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Category Manager to drive value creation in sourcing excellence and optimizing investments. This role will enable new capabilities within the procurement community for contract development of a new supply base.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop a Global Category Sourcing Plan and execute it, inclusive of global suppliers management through a Category Management Team(s), taking an End-to-End Value Chain perspective.
  • Be responsible for global opportunities, sourcing, and consolidation in close collaboration with key stakeholders in Operations, including Global stakeholder management and KPI execution.
  • Collaborate strongly with local teams from other procurement categories to ensure a 'One Procurement' team approach to governance and compliance, especially across production site procurement.
  • Manage the contract process by acting as the single point of contact (for procurement, legal, and finance) to business stakeholders.
  • Secure a scalable and flexible global supply base by managing suppliers C-level to ensure our businesses develop in the same direction.
  • Be accountable for all aspects of commercial governance, including Code of Conduct, contract, and PO compliance.

About the Role

This position is part of the CAPEX & MRO procurement team, responsible for sourcing and defining the global category direction, including supply market intelligence, vendor selection, and global contracting.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • A strategic flair and collaborative person with 3+ years of relevant experience within procurement, relationship management with strategic suppliers, project management, and/or engineering in an international company.
  • Experience with CAPEX contract management, especially Complex High Speed Automation Equipment and Sub-Assembly.
  • Negotiation skills and experience with large complex spend.
  • Specialist knowledge within manufacturing equipment, especially High Speed Automation Equipment and Sub-Assembly systems.
  • International mobility, expecting traveling 20-25 days a year.
