Field Technical Specialist

This role is a pivotal opportunity for an accomplished professional to drive technical excellence in East Asia, working closely with factory engineering teams and frontline service teams.
Job Description- Act as the primary point of contact for complex field issues across East Asia, providing advanced troubleshooting support to in-country service teams.
- Provide on-site technical support and commissioning when needed, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
- Coach and upskill local field service engineers in equipment installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with factory engineering teams to develop a high-performing field services workforce.
- Work with supply chain teams to establish a robust spare parts support model meeting regional warranty and service requirements.
- Support countries in managing spare parts inventory (min/max levels, regional hubs).
- Drive operational excellence and enhance technical reputation across the region.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in field service or technical support for power distribution systems, particularly LV/MV switchgear.
- Hands-on knowledge of equipment installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills, with the ability to lead, mentor, and influence across borders.
