IT Security Governance Lead

We are seeking a seasoned IT security governance professional to drive strategic initiatives across multiple countries.

This is an opportunity for a forward-thinking leader to deliver governance excellence in a dynamic, regulated environment.

About the Role

  • Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive governance frameworks across technology and security operations.
  • Direct the monitoring and reporting of risk indicators, policy deviations, incident trends, and third-party security posture.
  • Oversee annual risk and control self-assessments in alignment with regulatory guidelines and industry best practice.
  • Manage responses to regulatory reviews, inspections, and audits.
  • Design and deliver organisation-wide cybersecurity awareness programmes.
  • Provide leadership over specialised domains such as identity and access management, cloud security, and application security.
  • Champion continuous improvement of security governance practices.
  • Lead and develop a team of professionals across regional markets.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; Master's degree advantageous.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CRISC, CCSP preferred.
  • 15+ years' experience in cybersecurity governance, metrics, and risk reporting.
  • Experience in leading audit and regulatory engagements.
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams across multiple geographies.
  • Strong executive engagement skills with a track record of influencing at senior levels.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO 27001.
  • High integrity, excellent communication skills, and ability to take a strategic view of challenges.
