About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior Governance Program Manager to lead our technology governance initiatives.

This key role will be responsible for maintaining our technology governance framework, including guidelines and policies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT governance, risk management, or compliance and possess excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update our technology governance framework, including guidelines and policies.
  • Lead the identification and assessment of technology risks and define controls to mitigate these risks.
  • Define product specifications for controls that need to be implemented into systems and work with Tech Teams to systematically enforce these controls.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of governance controls and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Be the control owners for technology controls and will be the main audit subjects for SOX audits and regulatory inspections.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, legal requirements, and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments to integrate governance best practices into all technology projects and operations.
  • Oversee technology audits, working with internal and external auditors.
  • Provide guidance and training on technology governance to staff across the organization.
  • Stay informed of latest technology trends and regulatory changes to adjust governance strategies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience in IT governance, risk management, or compliance roles.
  • Professional certification preferred (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIA).
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in audit, internal controls, or SOX advisory.
  • Experience influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to navigate through complexity and make decisions with autonomy.
