Job DescriptionThis internship will provide a unique opportunity for the successful candidate to learn about Compliance, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and digital strategy development for Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs). As a Risk Management Associate - Compliance and Governance, you will assist our Compliance and Risk Team in implementing regulatory obligations, performing AML/CFT checks, and developing presentations on risk and compliance matters.
You will be responsible for:
- Assisting in Regulatory Compliance and AML/CFT implementation, including strategies, systems, and controls, to ensure compliance with regulatory obligations;
- Performing Compliance processes, including AML/CFT checks and due diligence on prospects/clients; and
- Developing plans to ensure timely execution of regulatory commitments.
To be considered for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Statistics with high grades. You should also have experience in designing and developing systems, and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Additionally, you should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work independently.
