Scientific Instrument Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Scientific Instrument Specialist to support our customers by providing after-sales technical services for scientific and analytical instrumentation.
The ideal candidate will have a background in engineering, with hands-on experience in installation, commissioning, calibration, and servicing of analytical equipment. This role involves direct interaction with customers at their sites and requires a strong understanding of scientific analyzers and instrumentation.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform installation, commissioning, calibration, training, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of analytical instruments at customer sites.
- Provide technical support and solutions to customers, ensuring minimum downtime and high satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate service reports and documentation related to each site visit or technical activity.
- Work closely with internal teams (Sales, Applications, Technical Support) to address customer requirements and feedback.
- Ensure adherence to company safety, quality, and service protocols.
- Assist in product demonstrations or technical presentations if required.
- Maintain strong customer relationships through professional communication and timely support.
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Chemical Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
- 2-4 years of experience in servicing scientific or analytical instruments is preferred.
- Technical understanding of scientific analyzers and laboratory instrumentation would be advantageous.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently on-site.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and team members.
- Willingness to travel locally or regionally for on-site service assignments.
