Scientific Instrument Service Professional

A key role within the organization is the Scientific Instrument Service Professional. This position involves delivering high-quality service support to clients, ensuring their scientific analytical instruments are properly installed, commissioned, calibrated, maintained, and repaired.
Key Responsibilities:
- Instrument Installation & Commissioning: Perform installation and commissioning of scientific analytical instruments at customer sites.
- Calibration & Maintenance: Ensure instruments are properly calibrated and maintained to guarantee optimal performance.
- Troubleshooting & Repair: Troubleshoot and repair instruments as needed to minimize downtime.
- Customer Liaison: Communicate effectively with customers to address service concerns and provide technical solutions.
- Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with customers to ensure quality service support.
- New Opportunities: Identify opportunities for new preventive maintenance contracts.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal sales and technical teams to support service requirements.
- Training & Support: Provide technical training to end-users and distributors.
- Quotations: Prepare service and spare parts quotations for client enquiries.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
- 2–4 years' experience in servicing scientific analytical instruments.
- Familiarity with Particle Size Analyzer, X-ray Fluorescence, Spectroscopy, or ICP Spectrometer is an advantage.
- Possession of a vehicle due to the need for site travelling is preferred.
