Job Description

This is a pivotal role in our organization where you will be responsible for overseeing the coordination and execution of logistics operations.

As an Operations Clerk, you will play a key part in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of job files, quotations, and invoices. Your expertise in container management, transportation billing, and data analysis will be essential in driving business growth and customer satisfaction.

In this position, you will work closely with drivers, vendors, and internal teams to maintain accurate records, track shipments, and resolve any logistical issues that may arise. Your excellent communication skills and attention to detail will enable you to provide top-notch support to our customers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage job files, quotations, and invoices in a timely and accurate manner
  • Coordinate with drivers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless logistics operations
  • Monitor and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Resolve logistical issues and escalate concerns as necessary
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a combination of technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills. The following are some of the key qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience in logistics or operations (preferably in container trucking)
  • Basic knowledge of Portnet, depot processes, and transport billing
  • Proficient in MS Excel and familiar with ERP/invoicing systems
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Good communication and coordination skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
