Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Research Assistant/Associate.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with principal investigators to support research in behavioural and implementation science, contribute to the centre's research strategies, and play a crucial role in shaping and executing research agendas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with research administration, ensuring that research and related activities are performed in accordance with institutional regulations and sponsoring agency policies and procedures.
  • Support research activities led by principal investigators, including study management, monitoring, and tracking study budgets and timelines.
  • Prepare and coordinate reports on programme progress for various audiences.
  • Provide administrative support to principal investigators' workstreams, including coordination of meetings, logistical support for visitors and staff, and calendar management.
  • Procure or acquire materials needed for research and liaise with vendors.
  • Assist with data collection or analysis as required in research projects.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Behavioural Science, Public Health, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience within an academic or healthcare setting is advantageous.
  • Working knowledge of research ethics and HBRA is advantageous.
  • Experience with research project management.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to operate effectively within a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Excellent organisation and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and project management tools.
  • A team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and goal-oriented.
  • Keen interest in the areas of behavioural and implementation sciences for research translation and communication is advantageous.
