Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Chef to join our team in a leadership role. As a key member of the kitchen staff, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring seamless operations and maintaining high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Station Management: Manage a designated area of the kitchen with precision and attention to detail, guaranteeing exceptional food quality and presentation.
- Food Preparation: Develop and execute innovative dishes according to recipes and restaurant standards, combining creativity and technical skills.
- Menu Execution: Execute menu items consistently and efficiently during service, meeting customer expectations and preferences.
- Ingredient Handling: Source, measure, and handle ingredients accurately according to recipes and standards, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory management.
- Team Supervision: Mentor and train junior chefs and kitchen staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Inventory Control: Monitor ingredient levels and manage inventory effectively for your section, preventing shortages and overstocking.
- Quality Control: Ensure dishes meet taste, texture, and presentation standards, upholding the restaurant's reputation for quality.
- Sanitation: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and equipment in your section, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Coordination: Coordinate with other sections to ensure timely and efficient service, meeting customer needs and exceeding expectations.
- Customer Service: Address special requests as per customer requirements, providing exceptional service and building loyalty.
- Problem Solving: Handle issues that arise during service and resolve them effectively, minimizing disruptions and maintaining a positive atmosphere.
- Compliance: Follow health, safety, and hygiene regulations, protecting employees, customers, and the environment.
