Export Operations Coordinator

Job Description:

The Export Operations Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of export activities, encompassing order processing, documentation preparation, compliance adherence, and coordination with freight forwarders and customs brokers. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication to ensure timely delivery and accurate shipment tracking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and process export orders from receipt to delivery, guaranteeing accuracy and efficiency.
  • Prepare and verify all necessary export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and shipping instructions.
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customs requirements, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers to arrange shipments and resolve logistical issues.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and keeping clients informed about shipment status.
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure availability of products for export and coordinate with the warehouse team for order fulfillment.
  • Generate and maintain reports on export activities, including shipment tracking, delivery performance, and cost analysis.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in export coordination or a related field.
  • Familiarity with international trade regulations, customs procedures, and export documentation.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
  • Experience with export management software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
