Job Overview

The role of a Junior Payroll professional involves various tasks including payroll and claims processing for government agencies using SAP systems. This position requires a high level of accuracy and adherence to established policies and procedures.

  • Process payroll, including payment of salary, annual increment, bonus, allowances, and statutory contributions in accordance with the company's policies and SOPs.
  • Verify and approve all pay transactions before processing payments to ensure their accuracy and legitimacy.
  • Handle overpayment cases by performing manual computations and ensuring recoveries are promptly followed up.
  • Process Journals and Payment Vouchers as per the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain compliance and efficiency.
  • Exercise independent analysis and judgement according to SOPs and recommend course of action when responding to Service Partners.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Payroll or Claims processing is preferred; however, candidates without relevant experience but with a good attitude and willingness to learn are welcome to apply.
  • Preferred Course of Studies in Business Administration, Human Resource, Accountancy, or Finance.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential for this role.
