Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Account Assistant to support our finance and accounting operations. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow in an accounting career and gain practical exposure to day-to-day finance functions.

About the Role:
  • This position involves accurately recording financial transactions, handling accounts payable and receivable, and performing regular bank and account reconciliations.
  • The successful candidate will assist in preparing financial reports, such as P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow, and provide administrative support to the Finance team as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately record financial transactions in Xero.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing, payments, and collections.
  • Perform regular bank and account reconciliations.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports, such as Profit & Loss Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement.
  • Support GST submissions and help with tax-related documentation.
  • Organize and maintain digital and physical financial records.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures.

Requirements:
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Familiarity or hands-on experience with Xero is highly advantageous.
  • Minimum Higher National Diploma in Accounting or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Meticulous, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
  • Eager to learn and grow within a supportive team environment.
