Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Quality and Performance Executive to join our team at MyCareersFuture. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the administrative, management, and coordination of clinical quality, patient safety, clinical risk, quality improvement programs, and Healthcare Performance Office activities across our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Administrative and Management Functions
  • Perform administrative, management, and coordination of patient safety, clinical risk, quality improvement programs, and Healthcare Performance Office activities.
  • Identify clinical issues through various means, including case review, incident reporting, clinical quality data analytics, and escalate as necessary.
  • Collect, analyze, and monitor performance data for clinical indicators of the hospital, committees, departments, and Healthcare Performance Office.
  • Provide secretariat support to the Clinical Board and its Quality Assurance subcommittees, Serious Reportable Events committee, and Healthcare Performance Office Chair.
Quality Improvement and Patient Safety
  • Manage Patient Safety Collaboration Workgroup, including Speaking up for Safety and Implementing Reliability for Safer Healthcare.
  • Participate in clinical risk management programs within the organization.
  • Support, coordinate, and manage patient safety programs and workshops, and engagement of clinical quality initiatives.
Reporting and Communication
  • Prepare annual Clinical Board paper and presentation related to the Quality Assurance subcommittees, as required.
  • Adopt best practices and collaborate with relevant external and internal stakeholders to inculcate a culture of clinical quality and patient safety.
Leadership and Supervision
  • Take on supervisory roles or special projects, as directed by supervisor and Assistant Chairman Medical Board, Clinical Quality and Performance.
  • Embrace continuous improvement as our way of life by improving and refining work performance on a daily basis.
Education, Training, and Experience
  • Hold a degree in medical, nursing, or allied health profession or equivalent.
  • Post-graduate qualifications in management or healthcare administration or public health are preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of healthcare experience or relevant experience in other settings.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Team player with good interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
Professional License
  • Clinical Practice Healthcare Qualification certification is preferred.
