Demurrage Position Summary

The company is seeking an experienced professional to take on a Demurrage Analyst role. This position plays a critical part in the company's transformation projects.

  • The analyst will oversee demurrage exposure for Gasoline desk trade, analyzing and negotiating payables and receivables.
  • Prepare timely reports on demurrage computations and submit them to relevant counterparts.
  • Ensure prompt collection of outstanding claims and track incoming funds.
  • Closely collaborate with cargo operators for efficient claims file management and documentation.
  • Generate weekly/monthly demurrage status reports and handle monthly demurrage accruals.
  • Coordinate with the contract desk on purchase and sales contracts, focusing on delivery nomination, Laytime, and demurrage clauses.
  • Verify and endorse freight invoices for approval/payment.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, applicants must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience in the oil & gas industry.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
