**About the Role**:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive **Demurrage & Claims Analyst**to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing, processing, and managing demurrage and shipping-related claims to ensure timely and accurate resolution. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in maritime, logistics, or supply chain to develop expertise in claims management within the oil and gas trading sector.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Review and acknowledge demurrage and ancillary claims submitted by vessel owners, brokers, suppliers, and buyers.
- Perform accurate and timely demurrage calculations for claim submissions.
- Ensure timely responses to claims to prevent time-bar expiration.
- Validate and submit all eligible claims within contractual deadlines.
- Process and track claim payments and receivables.
- Analyze contracts, shipping documents, and charter party terms to support claim negotiations.
- Prepare monthly reports on demurrage and ancillary claims status.
- Assist the Operations Manager with ad-hoc tasks as required.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Degree in **Engineering, Business, Maritime, Logistics, or Supply Chain**(preferred). Diploma holders with relevant experience will also be considered.
- **1+ years of experience**in handling maritime claims, preferably in oil & gas trading. **Fresh graduates with internship experience in claims are encouraged to apply.**:

- Strong proficiency in **spreadsheet tools (Excel, Google Sheets)**for data analysis.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
- Excellent **written and verbal communication skills in English.**:

- Ability to interpret contracts and shipping documentation.
