Job Overview:

The Property Manager will oversee day-to-day operations, coordinate maintenance activities and maintain strong relationships with tenants, vendors and staff.

  • To ensure the efficient operation of all matters relating to maintenance and management of properties.
  • Responsible for preserving infrastructure in good condition, ensuring it is safe and well-maintained.
  • Fully responsible for the day-to-day operation of buildings, ensuring all facilities are operational.
  • Schedule, coordinate and supervise all maintenance functions to the highest standard expected.
  • Plan, co-ordinate and facilitate weekly meetings.
  • Manage and supervise maintenance and administrative staff assigned to complexes/buildings.
  • Manage and review vendor contracts, agreements and insurance before expiry, recommending renewal or calling for quotation/tender.
  • Ensure contract works/routine servicing is carried out according to specifications.
  • Maintain continuous contact and communication with vendor contractors, clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Property Management encompasses a range of tasks including:

  1. Ensuring efficient and smooth operation of maintenance and management of properties.
  2. Preserving infrastructure in good condition to ensure safety and well-maintenance.
  3. Day-to-day operation of buildings ensuring facilities are fully operational.
  4. Scheduling, coordinating and supervising maintenance functions to meet high standards.
  5. Planning, coordinating and facilitating weekly meetings.
  6. Managing and supervising maintenance and administrative staff.
  7. Reviewing and managing vendor contracts, agreements and insurance.
  8. Coordinating routine servicing and contract works to specified standards.
  9. Communicating effectively with clients, contractors and staff.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  1. Relevant years of experience in managing industrial, commercial and residential buildings.
  2. Diploma/Degree in Estate Management, Facilities/Hospitality/Business, preferably with familiarity with BMSMA.
  3. Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  4. Exhibit organizational and leadership skills.
  5. Be able to optimize cost, space and equipment while working within budgeted operational costs.
  6. Able to handle pressure, multiple tasks, prioritize and manage time effectively.
  7. Able to work with all levels of people with a customer service-oriented mindset.
  8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace.
