Job Opportunity: Securities Settlements Specialist

As a skilled Securities Settlements professional, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless transitions of client assets and portfolio transfers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating with various teams to facilitate the smooth transfer of client assets and portfolio via Letter of Undertaking.
  • Managing daily requests for security transfer from initiation to completion, guaranteeing timely and accurate processing.
  • Effective management and resolution of failed transfers, adhering to procedures, control guidelines, market regulation, and compliance framework.

Additional responsibilities encompass:

  • Closing liaison and coordination with multiple parties, including Front Office, internal departments, custodians, and counterparties.
  • Providing value-added services to the front office, ensuring efficient and effective management of stock and cash breaks, and performing end-of-day control checks.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum degree in Accountancy/Finance or a related field.
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Qualified candidates should possess relevant experience in treasury operations, accounts payable, and securities investment, accompanied by a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
