We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Treasury Officer. In this position, you will be responsible for managing our organization's foreign currency denominated securities portfolio and ensuring we achieve our desired goals in terms of portfolio mix quality, yield, and profitability.

The key responsibilities of this role include taking proprietary positions in the foreign exchange market and reconciling and managing the branch's foreign currency-denominated nostro accounts.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of securities and FX portfolio management. You will also need to be able to monitor and analyze market conditions using fundamental and technical indicators, providing analysis and updates to management, clients, and concerned units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Securities and FX Portfolio Management: You will be responsible for managing our organization's foreign currency denominated securities portfolio and ensuring we achieve our desired goals in terms of portfolio mix quality, yield, and profitability.
  • Take Position in Foreign Currency-Denominated Sovereign/Corporate Securities: You will take proprietary positions in the foreign exchange market to maximize the returns of the portfolio based on our house view.
  • Monitor and Analyze Market Conditions: You will monitor and analyze market conditions using fundamental and technical indicators, providing analysis and updates to management, clients, and concerned units.
  • Ensure Timely and Accurate Capture of All Done Transactions: You will ensure that all transactions are captured accurately and timely in the applicable trading platform.
  • Reconcile Captured/Reported Cashflows: You will reconcile captured/reported cashflows versus transactions reflected in the relevant systems.
