Construction Contract Specialist

The Contracts Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the execution of construction projects from a contractual, financial, and legal perspective.
Key Responsibilities- Lead contract administration processes from tender to project completion ensuring seamless integration with operational objectives.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, subcontracts, and supplier agreements aligning with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure adherence to contractual terms, relevant laws, and company standards.
- Manage claims, variations, and dispute resolution through effective communication and negotiation strategies.
- Monitor project costs, expenses, and cash flow to maintain fiscal responsibility.
- Evaluate and mitigate contractual and commercial risks by conducting thorough analyses.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to foster collaborative relationships.
- Provide expert advice on contract and procurement strategies enhancing business decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in contract management within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, relevant laws, and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
