Compensation Specialist Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring timely and accurate salary, CPF submissions, and statutory payments. This includes accurately verifying and approving IR21 for foreign resignees and annual IR8A.

In addition to payroll management, the Compensation Specialist will oversee full-cycle talent acquisition, including job postings, resume screening, interviews arrangement, reference checks, and onboarding/offboarding. They will also assist in implementing and executing training plans and conducting trainings as well as post-training evaluations.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of payroll principles, taxation, and employment laws in Singapore, as well as excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee end-to-end payroll processing, including accurate bank details and timely submission of bank files.
  • Prepare payroll-related reports for management, government agencies, and auditors.
  • Assist in payroll system upgrades and maintain the confidentiality of payroll data.
  • Oversee full-cycle talent acquisition, including job postings, resume screening, and interviews.
  • Implement and execute training plans, conduct trainings, and evaluate training effectiveness.
  • Administer employee lifecycle events, maintain accurate employee records, and coordinate onboarding.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in HR/Business Management or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in payroll processing and HR administration/HR operations.
  • Proficient in HRM payroll software, Microsoft Excel, and related tools.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll principles, taxation, and employment laws in Singapore.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
