**Job Opportunity:** Trade Operations Specialist

The Group Operations team plays a vital role in enabling the bank to operate efficiently and effectively. Our focus is on productivity, quality control, technology, people capability, and innovation. We manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and strive to deliver exceptional service to our business partners through multiple banking delivery channels.

As a Trade Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Processing daily Trade Operations transactions in accordance with agreed service standards.
  • Liaising and following up with Business Units or customers for instructions required to complete transactions.
  • Liaising with internal and external counterparties for queries relating to transactions.
  • Performing day-end reconciliation of transactions.
  • Adhering to risks and control guidelines/policies.
  • Assisting in projects to improve work processes.
  • Performing ad-hoc tasks/duties assigned by Supervising Manager.

**Key Requirements:*

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in banking operations, especially in Trade Services.
  • Functional knowledge/experience in back office support is required.
  • Able to multitask, self-motivated with good interpersonal skills.
  • Able to take on new tasks as required by the business and by the management.
  • Meticulous, alert, and have an eye for figures and details.
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications, especially MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Ability to work extended hours due to surge in volume during peak periods.
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency to meet various currency cutoff times and customer's specific SLA with zero error rate.
  • Speed and Accuracy – Role requires prompt processing of transactions while maintaining vigilance and accuracy over manual repairs and inputs.
  • Comfort with variable workload dependent on customer payment volumes.
  • Teamwork, dependability, strong risk and controls mindset, and meticulous.
