Expert Unix System Administrator Wanted

This role involves the administration of Unix/Linux systems, ensuring high availability and performance. Key responsibilities include managing patching and vulnerability remediation for Linux, Solaris, HP-UX, AIX servers, Solaris VMs, and IBM VIO systems.
Administrators will also perform patch assessments and plan deployment strategies, execute BIOS and firmware upgrades as required, and monitor and maintain system logs for health and performance.
Required skills and qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field, 8–12 years of hands-on experience in Linux/Unix system administration, strong verbal and written communication skills, and proven ability to work in SLA-driven environments.
Deep expertise in managing RHEL, HP-UX, Solaris, and AIX server environments is essential, as is familiarity with cluster management software and expertise in patch and vulnerability management.
Strong troubleshooting skills in OS and hardware-related issues are also necessary, along with in-depth experience in OS and firmware patching and proficiency with patch management tools such as BigFix and SCCM.
