About the Role">

This role involves supporting the ongoing delivery, growth, and development of a new product. The successful applicant will work closely with various teams to implement new data sources, methods, and models. They will be responsible for ensuring that published data is consistently of high quality and updated according to schedule.

The E-commerce Senior Analyst will engage with clients internally and externally to ensure the highest possible service level. They will also support the Product Manager in driving the continued evolution of the product to better meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities

Data Building and Quality Assurance: The E-commerce Senior Analyst will perform secondary research to collect and review information in the public domain to validate or improve online sales estimates. They will also collaborate with Syndicated Research to ensure published data is consistent with wider Passport coverage.
  3. Client Support and Engagement: The successful applicant will engage with clients to instil confidence in the methodology and provide a service that meets their subscription level. They will also help manage the creation of custom data deliveries under the umbrella of Subscription Services.
  4. Product Evolution: The E-commerce Senior Analyst will help shape the evolution of the sources and methodology as well as the published datasets themselves. They will gather feedback from clients and internal experts to further develop the data offer.
Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A data-savvy mindset with advanced Excel skills and ideally experience in SQL, Tableau, and/or Power BI.
  • High-level quantitative research and analysis skills to drive data integrity and improvements.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to translate client needs into robust and transparently sourced data.
  • Experience using multi-sourced methods to build syndicated data.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proven ability to build consensus and work across teams.
  • An innovative mindset that asks the right questions of the right people at the right time.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce and related metrics (POS/EPOS, AOV, conversion, traffic metrics) and data sources (clickstream, web scraping, e-receipts).
