Cloud Infrastructure Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud-based infrastructure platforms.

You will work closely with senior team members to ensure seamless deployment and scaling of our applications. This includes implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform, monitoring system performance and reliability, identifying and addressing issues proactively, and documenting processes and configurations to ensure knowledge sharing and maintainability.

You will also participate in on-call rotations and provide support during off-hours, assisting in the deployment, configuring, and management of Kubernetes resources, monitoring k8s for performance, availability, and resource utilization, and troubleshooting and resolving cloud infrastructure and deployment-related issues in a timely manner.

• To work with Senior Cloud Infrastructure Specialist/Lead Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to manage and operate infrastructure platforms on cloud.
• To monitor system performance and reliability, identifying and addressing issues proactively.
• Supporting infrastructure as code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform.
• Deploy and manage solutions on cloud with CI/CD pipelines.
• Documenting processes, procedures, and configurations to ensure knowledge sharing and maintainability.
• Participating in on-call rotations and providing support during off-hours.
• Assisting in the deployment, configuring, and management of Kubernetes resources.
• Monitoring k8s for performance, availability, and resource utilization.
• Troubleshooting and resolving cloud infrastructure and deployment-related issues in a timely manner.

• Bachelor's degree or higher diploma in Information Technology or related discipline.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience as Cloud Infrastructure Specialist.
• Working knowledge in any of the following infrastructure automation tools: Terraform, Chef, or CloudFormation.
• Hands-on experience with cloud providers such as AWS, Google Cloud, etc. (Preferably with AWS)
• Experience in administering any CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, ArgoCD, GitLab, or TeamCity.
• Familiarity with at least one programming/scripting language such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker, EKS and Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems and command-line tools.
• Excellent communication skills and a team player.
• Able to fulfil standby duty for off-hours support.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Any Cloud Infrastructure Professional Certifications will be a plus.
