Role: Infrastructure Cloud Solution Architect
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Cloud Solution Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise-grade cloud and infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in on-premises infrastructure, cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP), virtualization platforms, and automation frameworks . You will partner with business leaders, technology teams, and vendors to define scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions aligned with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
  • Solution Architecture & Design
    Design and deliver robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure and cloud solutions.
    Evaluate current systems and recommend modernization, migration, or hybrid strategies.
    Define reference architectures and best practices for cloud adoption and infrastructure transformation.
  • Cloud Strategy & Implementation
    Drive cloud migration initiatives (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) across multi-cloud and hybrid environments.
    Architect solutions leveraging AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud-native services.
    Ensure cost optimization, resilience, high availability, and disaster recovery are factored into designs.
  • Infrastructure & Virtualization
    Lead architecture for datacenter virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM).
    Optimize storage, compute, and networking infrastructure.
    Define standards for performance, capacity planning, and monitoring.
  • Automation & DevOps Enablement
    Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
    Drive automation for provisioning, configuration, and deployment pipelines.
    Work closely with DevOps teams to enable CI/CD and infrastructure reliability.
  • Governance & Security
    Establish cloud governance frameworks including identity, access management, and compliance.
    Collaborate with security teams to ensure adherence to regulatory and enterprise standards.
  • Stakeholder Management
    Partner with business and IT stakeholders to align solutions with organizational objectives.
    Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and project teams.
    Manage vendor relationships and evaluate new technologies for adoption.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience : 15+ years in IT Infrastructure and Cloud, with strong hands-on and architecture-level expertise.
  • Infrastructure Expertise :
    Deep knowledge of networking, storage, compute, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
    Strong background in virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM).
  • Cloud Expertise :
    Proven experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP).
    Strong knowledge of hybrid cloud architectures, cloud-native services, and migration strategies.
    Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Automation & Tools :
    Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, Puppet, Chef).
    Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD practices.
  • Soft Skills :
    Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
    Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
    Leadership skills to mentor teams and drive complex projects to success.
  • Certifications (Preferred):
    AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional
    Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
    Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect
    VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or similar
