Job Overview

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the company's growth strategy through strategic lease management, negotiations, and site evaluations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing leasing strategies to support business expansion, including new store openings, lease renewals, relocations, expansions, and closures.
  • Leading lease negotiations with landlords and property agents, as well as managing ongoing renewals to ensure optimal terms and conditions.
  • Evaluating the impact of renovation cycles, sales transfers, project rollouts, and changes in store portfolio on leasing activities.
  • Conceptualizing and presenting creative design proposals for tender submissions, while maintaining relationships with designers for collaborative projects.
  • Coordinating with Project and Maintenance teams to address facility-related concerns, renovations, and landlord-driven improvements.
  • Reviewing lease agreements, consulting legal counsel as needed, and flagging any contractual discrepancies or concerns.
  • Managing and following up on all lease documentation to ensure timely completion, as well as maintaining accurate leasing reports and schedules.
  • Preparing and presenting weekly and monthly updates and reports to Senior Management on leasing performance and progress.
  • Building and nurturing strong relationships with key stakeholders, including landlords, property agents, and other relevant parties.
  • Ensuring that all leasing activities comply with operational standards and best practices.
  • Conducting site visits and inspections to identify potential expansion opportunities and provide recommendations for future growth.
  • Collaborating with landlords and agents to secure new locations through tenders or direct negotiations.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess:

  • A Diploma or Degree in Business, Real Estate, or a related field, with at least 1-2 years of experience in tenancy management and leasing.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal abilities, with a solid understanding of commercial lease terms and conditions.
  • Self-motivation and ability to work independently, with strong analytical and commercial mindset.
  • Prior experience in the F&B sector and familiarity with public and private tendering processes is advantageous.
