Sustainability Leader Job Description

Job Title: Sustainability Leader - Energy Transition

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sustainability Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sustainability and carbon development projects, with a proven track record of leading or managing projects related to carbon accounting, target setting, net-zero road mapping, and environmental attribute project development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead or manage projects related to carbon accounting, target setting, net-zero road mapping, and environmental attribute development.
  • Manage resources, schedules, sub-contractors, budgets, and risks.
  • Prepare and submit proposals for new projects.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and share knowledge.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental or climate science or related discipline.
  • 2-5 years of proven experience in sustainability and carbon development projects.

Benefits:

  • Knowledge of emerging sustainability and carbon market trends, standards, and policies.
  • Understanding of carbon accounting and GHG Protocol.
  • Experience with lifecycle assessment, Science-Based Target Setting, climate risks, and nature-based solutions.
  • Knowledge of carbon credit project development, CCUS processes, green hydrogen supply chain, and energy sector.
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, analytical, and writing skills.
