Early Intervention Specialist

The Early Intervention for Children Services aims to equip young children with essential life skills. Our team of professionals works closely with parents and caregivers to develop personalized intervention programs that meet the unique needs of each child.

  • We plan, prepare and implement effective intervention strategies tailored to the child's developmental stage.
  • We work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve functional outcomes through engagement, embedding naturalistic strategies, differentiation of prompts, and behavioral intervention techniques.
  • We conduct regular assessments to ensure our strategies are meeting the child's evolving needs.
  • We maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment, promoting positive relationships between children and staff.
  • We supervise and support Assistant Teachers and Teacher Aides in their roles, providing guidance on classroom management, teaching strategies and behavioral intervention techniques.
  • We mentor and coach Assistant Teachers and Teacher Aides, helping them develop their skills and confidence.
  • We facilitate regular team meetings and cluster discussions to share best practices and address any challenges.
