Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Maintenance Manager in implementing preventive maintenance and repair schedules.
  • Prepare duty rosters for maintenance staff.
  • Conduct daily briefings and assign duties to staff.
  • Execute administrative duties such as inventory management and record keeping.
  • Ensure good housekeeping standards and adherence to safety procedures.

Requirements
  • Polytechnic Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Engineering management in a similar capacity.
  • Ability to deal with suppliers, contractors, and government bodies.
  • Ability to manage various projects simultaneously.
  • Exposure to purchasing and cost control beneficial.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel for report preparation.
  • Sound knowledge of Hotel Engineering and Management.
  • Sound knowledge in Mechanical, Electrical, and Building Engineering.
  • Ability to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair building equipment.
  • Good communication and coaching skills.
  • Willingness to learn and work as a team member.
