Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Coordinator to join our team at The GMP Group. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling facility maintenance activities.

Salary Range: SGD 60,000 - SGD 80,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work Planning & Coordination: Develop detailed job plans, sequence tasks, and allocate required resources. Identify and procure necessary materials from stock or external suppliers. Conduct walkdowns to develop job plans and communicate the scope to stakeholders.
  • SAP Management: Handle SAP work orders, ensuring proper planning, scheduling, and closure. Manage work order backlogs, prioritize them, and maintain accurate documentation. Familiarity with SAP modules such as notifications, work orders, maintenance plans, and material management is crucial.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Create and maintain work packages, track work order backlogs, and generate reports on maintenance effectiveness and costs. Manage calibration records and support risk assessments and root cause analysis.
  • Facility Support: Collaborate with engineers and various departments to plan and support facility maintenance during normal operations and turnarounds. Lead the turnaround schedule and provide updates.
  • Training: Provide technical training and equipment introductions to contractors.

Requirements:

  • Diploma and/or Bachelor's in relevant engineering (Mechanical or E&I or Mechatronics)
  • 5 years of experience as a facility technician/executive.
  • Knowledge of facility maintenance processes and equipment covering: HVAC, blowers, fans, compressors, chillers, Fire Systems, Security access and monitoring systems, Basic electrical and communication equipment
  • Experience with SAP
  • Ability to understand technical drawings and equipment documentation
  • Strong communication and organizational skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to analyze situations, make decisions and provide related technical solutions to maintenance challenges.
  • Willingness to work in Jurong Island
