Cost Management Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cost Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our contract management team, you will be responsible for managing all costs related to our projects, from initial calculations to final figures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
  • Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work.
  • Perform risk and value management and cost control.
  • Advise on procurement strategy.
  • Identify, analyze, and develop responses to commercial risks.
  • Prepare and analyse costing for tenders.
  • Allocate work to subcontractors.
  • Provide advice on contractual claims.
  • Analyse outcomes and write detailed progress reports.
  • Value completed work and arrange payments.

Client and Stakeholder Management:

  • Attend meetings with clients and their representatives.
  • Liaise with the client and other construction professionals.
  • Prepare and present cost reports to clients and internal stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying / Building / Construction Management or equivalent.
  • Minimum 4 years of working experience in Quantity Surveying.
  • Ability to work with tight deadlines and details-oriented.
  • Knowledge of civil projects.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
