Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Operator to join our team at U3 Infotech. As a Data Center Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our data center facilities, providing exceptional support to our clients, and collaborating with our team to resolve technical issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and respond to incoming tickets in a timely manner, ensuring that all issues are resolved to the satisfaction of our clients.
  • Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, or our ticketing portal, ensuring that all queries are addressed promptly and professionally.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including power verification, power cycling, and break-fix for servers and network devices.
  • Assist in troubleshooting physical connectivity issues and perform cable patching as required.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of cable inventory, cross-connects, and statistics.
  • Collaborate with vendors to resolve technical issues and supply/install equipment or cabling as needed.
  • Liaise with clients to provide updates on activity and escalate issues as necessary to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Work closely with other team members to coordinate the dissemination of information and handover of duties.
  • Perform site escorts for vendors and customers as required.
  • Receive and send equipment or items on behalf of clients as necessary.
