Reconciliation Expert
">This role requires a professional with extensive experience in financial reconciliations, banking systems, and process improvement. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and efficiently handle high-volume tasks.
">The main responsibilities include:
- Performing daily reconciliation and balancing for various financial products, including deposits, cards, and unsecured loans.
- Identifying discrepancies in financial reports and transaction records, investigating and resolving reconciliation issues promptly.
- Escalating unresolved issues or exceptions to the Team Manager for further action.
- Applying knowledge gained to propose and implement ideas for reducing manual processes and improving operational efficiency.
- Assisting and supporting the Team Manager/Leader in system enhancements, process improvements, and other projects related to reconciliation processes.
- Maintaining and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure accuracy and consistency across the reconciliation processes.
Requirements:
">- A diploma or higher education is preferred, though relevant banking reconciliation experience will also be considered.
- 1-2 years of experience in banking reconciliations is required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Familiarity with banking systems and reconciliation tools is an advantage.
