Reconciliation Specialist Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with expertise in financial reporting, investigation, and process improvement.

  • Perform daily reconciliation and balancing of financial transactions, including deposits, cards, and unsecured loans.
  • Identify discrepancies in financial reports and transaction records, and investigate and resolve reconciliation issues.
  • Evaluate the necessity to escalate exceptions to the Team Manager when required, and propose enhancements to streamline manual tasks.
  • Assist the Team Manager/Team Lead with system enhancements or process improvement projects, and document and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

Key Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in financial institutions, with knowledge of reconciliation processes.
  • Demonstrate strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • A strong team player with a positive mindset, capable of working independently.
