Assessing Credit Worthiness

As a financial credit risk manager, you will be responsible for evaluating the creditworthiness of borrowers and developing reports detailing their financial and non-financial covenants on a monthly basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of existing and potential borrowers to provide impartial credit risk evaluations.
  • Perform independent credit analysis to determine borrowers' creditworthiness and repayment capacity.
  • Prepare regular credit reviews for customers, adhering to established frameworks, policies, and procedures.
  • Develop reports detailing financial and non-financial covenants on a monthly basis.
  • Collaborate with headquarters on credit control matters.
  • Compile minutes from meetings and maintain related materials.
  • Conduct research and produce reports on credit-related issues impacting the branch's portfolio.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of four years of experience in credit risk management or a related field.
  • A degree in a relevant discipline is required.
  • Preferred experience in banking credit risk or credit analysis.
