We are seeking a skilled Sweet Flavor Formulation Specialist to join our innovative R&D team in Singapore.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating new sweet flavor formulations based on market trends and consumer preferences. They will ensure that these flavors are not only appealing but also stable, applicable, and compliant with relevant regulations and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create novel sweet flavor formulations that meet market demands while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Analyze and optimize existing sweet flavor formulations to enhance their performance, cost efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
  • Participate in market research to identify emerging trends and innovation opportunities in sweet flavors, driving new product development.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and marketing, to ensure seamless transition from concept to market launch.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and environment, ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to safety procedures.
  • Engage in consumer testing and evaluation, making necessary adjustments based on feedback to meet market expectations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Food Science, Biochemistry, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the sweet flavor industry or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of sweet flavor ingredients, flavor chemistry, and food industry standards.
  • Expertise in sugars, sweeteners, and their interactions in various applications.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, able to collaborate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools, with data analysis skills being a plus.
