Job Description:

The role of Senior Sweet Flavor Formulation Specialist is to develop and optimize sweet flavor formulations that support food and beverage product lines. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure innovation and high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop new sweet flavor formulations based on market trends and consumer preferences, ensuring flavor harmony, stability, and applicability.
  • Analyze and improve existing sweet flavor formulations to enhance flavor performance and cost efficiency while complying with relevant regulations and quality standards.
  • Participate in market research to identify new trends and innovation opportunities in sweet flavors to drive new product development.
  • Collaborate with R&D, production, and marketing teams to ensure a smooth transition from concept to market launch.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and environment, ensuring safety and operational efficiency while adhering to all procedures and safety protocols.
  • Engage in consumer testing and evaluation, making necessary adjustments based on feedback to meet market demands.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Food Science, Biochemistry, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the sweet flavor industry or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of sweet flavor ingredients, flavor chemistry, and food industry standards.
  • Expertise in sugars, sweeteners, and their interactions in different applications.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, able to collaborate with team members from diverse backgrounds.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools, with data analysis skills being a plus.
