Senior Planning Engineer Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Planning Engineer to develop and maintain project schedules, coordinate with project teams, contractors, and suppliers, and prepare baseline schedules with resources, cost loadings, S-curves, programme narratives, and scope appreciation presentations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain project schedules in consultation with the project team.
  • Coordinate and obtain inputs from project team, contractors, and suppliers to support the development of project programmes.
  • Prepare baseline schedule which includes resources, cost loadings, S-curves, Programme Narratives, and scope appreciation presentation.
  • Work on progress forecast and prepare rolling programmes.
  • Update, track, and report project progress against planned schedule.
  • Monitor and control progress to ensure that turnover and cost is in line with master construction program.
  • Ensure timely submission of materials with approvals.
  • Ensure project orders and deliveries are in accordance to agreed schedules.
  • Assist in overall interfacing and coordination works as and when required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering recognized by Professional Engineers Board (PEB) Singapore or Building and Construction Authority (BCA).
  • Good understanding of construction industry practices and standards to perform planning and scheduling.
  • Experience in LTA programme preparation, programme requirements, and submissions.
  • At least 3 years' experience in large-scale projects with hands-on experience doing planning and scheduling for civil and building projects.
  • Candidate with more experience will be considered for a senior role.
  • Proficient in planning software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
  • Candidate with 4D BIM knowledge will have an added advantage.
  • Highly motivated, self-driven with initiatives to work independently to produce programmes, narrative, and histograms.
  • Meticulous, eye for details, and a good team player.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
