About the Role:
This is a hands-on position that requires someone with a strong development background and experience working with Front office Trading and Sales teams. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a collaborative environment, providing expertise in application programming and ensuring application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint.

Key Responsibilities:
* Work closely with Front office Trading and Sales teams to understand requirements and convert them into concrete deliverables.
* Serve as a mentor and coach mid-level developers, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
* Provide expertise in application programming, ensuring that application design aligns with the overall architecture blueprint.
* Implement new functionalities by writing good quality code and automated tests, ensuring high levels of efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications and Skills:
* 6-10 years of experience in writing solid APIs, preferably in Java or C#.
* Strong understanding of asynchronous programming, microservices architecture, and patterns, low latency systems design and implementation.
* Experience working with messaging middleware platforms like Solace, Kafka, etc., and container platforms like Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc.
* A polyglot programmer with the ability to adapt to different programming languages, including Java 11+.
* Strong understanding of automated testing techniques and Agile methodologies, as well as Continuous Integration.

Education:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
